What this site is

Walnut & Wool is an independent publication about home decor. We write about products and link to merchants who sell them. We are not a shop. We hold no stock, take no payments, process no orders, and ship nothing. Every purchase you make is a transaction between you and the merchant, on their terms, under their policies.

Recommendations are opinion

Everything we publish is our editorial opinion, offered in good faith and for general information. It is not professional advice of any kind — not design advice, not safety advice, not financial advice. What suits one room may be wrong for yours. Use your own judgement, and check anything that matters to you directly with the manufacturer or a qualified professional.

Prices and availability

Any price shown here was correct when we recorded it and is displayed for reference only. Prices change constantly, and merchants set them, not us. The price on the merchant’s own page at the moment you buy is the only price that counts. The same goes for availability, delivery times, specifications, and whether a product exists at all. Always confirm before purchasing.

Links to other sites

Our links take you to sites we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices, their security, the accuracy of what they say, or what happens after you arrive. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the far side of it. Once you leave, that site’s terms and privacy policy apply, not ours.

Many of our links earn us a commission. This is disclosed on every page that carries one, and explained in full on our affiliate disclosure page, which forms part of these terms.

No warranty

This site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information on it is accurate, complete, or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Walnut & Wool and anyone associated with it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or from anything you purchase through it — including lost profits, lost data, or damage to property. This applies however the claim arises and even if we were warned such damage was possible.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply to you only as far as the law allows, and nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Our content

The writing, photography, and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to link to us, quote us briefly with attribution, and share our pages. You may not republish our articles in full, or use our content to train commercial models, without written permission.

Product names, brand names, and manufacturer images belong to their respective owners. We use them to identify the products we write about.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this site, to interfere with its operation, to scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or to use it for anything unlawful.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms, so it is worth checking back occasionally.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
