Walnut & Wool is reader-supported. Many of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the merchant pays us a commission. You pay exactly the same price either way.
This disclosure is required by the United States Federal Trade Commission, and we would tell you anyway. Every page carrying an affiliate link says so above the first one, before you have a chance to click it.

Prices
Prices shown here were correct when we recorded them and go out of date quickly. Every price is shown with the date it was last checked. The merchant sets the final price, and the price on their page at the moment you buy is the only one that counts. Always confirm before purchasing.
How we choose what to recommend
Commission rates vary between merchants, and we are not going to pretend that is invisible. What we do about it: we choose the products first and find the links afterwards, and we say plainly when a cheaper option is the better buy, including when it pays us less or nothing at all.
We do not accept payment for a favourable review. No merchant or brand sees an article before it is published, and none has the right to approve, alter, or veto what we write. Where we have not personally tested something, we say so rather than implying otherwise.
Being an affiliate does not make us the merchant’s agent. We do not sell anything, hold stock, or handle your order — see our terms of use.
How the links work
Outbound links pass through our own redirect before reaching the merchant, which lets us count which recommendations readers actually find useful. We record the page, the position of the link, a coarse device type, and a country. We do not store your IP address and we do not build a profile of you. Our privacy policy sets this out in full.
